Anahita Beau Champ pre-certified WELL Community

This is a first in the Indian Ocean: Anahita Beau Champ, the latest real estate project launched under the “Smart City” program by the Alteo group, has recently been pre-certified as a WELL Community! Issued by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), this recognition highlights its remarkable performance during the rigorous evaluation of its buildings and community across ten categories: air, water, food, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind, and community. This prestigious distinction further reinforces Alteo’s commitment to creating an exceptional and sustainable living space in the east of the island, in line with its vision of “Making the East an everlasting place to grow.”

The WELL Community pre-certification, exclusively reserved for real estate projects that have integrated world-class health and environmental well-being standards, is particularly important for the Alteo group. According to the CEO of the real estate division, David Martial, it significantly consolidates the master plan of Anahita Beau Champ, which is to create a sustainable future and a superior quality of life for its residents, occupants, and visitors, based on its three pillars: GreenEst, SmartEst, HealthiEst. “Our vision for Anahita Beau Champ has always been to create more than just a living space. We aspire to develop a community where the well-being of residents is the cornerstone of every design and development decision. Today, we are truly proud to be the first in the region to receive this award. It shows our total commitment to excellence and our dedication to advancing the Eastern region and ‘Making the East an everlasting place to grow’,” he said.

The Anahita Beau Champ residential project, covering an area of 118 hectares, has been designed to harmoniously integrate with the natural setting of the site and the existing topography. The materials (stone, wood, metal) and the design of the buildings evoke traditional Mauritian architecture, adding an incomparable character. Residents can immerse themselves in an environment that actively supports their well-being through amenities such as numerous green spaces, walking and cycling paths, state-of-the-art sports facilities, and access to healthy and local food products.
Stéphanie Domaingue, Property Executive – Development at Alteo Properties, also shares her pride: “I am honored to be part of the team that contributed to obtaining the WELL Community pre-certification for Anahita Beau Champ. This exceptional recognition, awarded by the International WELL Building Institute, is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the well-being of our residents and the sustainability of our environment.”
Since its launch in May, the Smart City has experienced strong momentum. All the building plots of the first residential phase have been reserved, as well as nearly 50% of the apartments. The residential offer also includes seven off-plan villas (VEFA) for sale. By obtaining the WELL Community pre-certification, Anahita Beau Champ has thus taken a significant step. It is now preparing to continue its development by offering an even healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle while aiming for global certification.
